Nathan David Lambert is a bit of a confused person:
Born in England of English parents, he moved to France at 3 years of age and was brought up in the French school system. At school he learnt about such things as the “Révolution”, “Citoyenneté” and Philosophy. In short, he was made into a perfect Frenchman. So on paper he is English, but he considers himself French. He is confused!
Nathan’s dad planted evangelical churches, and he grew up knowing nothing of the Book of Common Prayer. He was baptised at age 16 in a swimming pool in his back garden. He also studied theology at an evangelical seminary in France. Despite this less than Anglican upbringing, Nathan is in his second spell as youth worker in an Anglican church in the Paris region, and his dad has been ordained in the Church of England. He isn’t really sure whether or not he is an Anglican. In short, he is confused!
But there are a few things that Nathan isn’t confused about. He knows that he loves his amazing wife, Beki, very much. He also knows that he has a passion for Arsenal Football Club, that he loves playing his guitar and that he hates French bureaucracy.
Nathan has a passion for God, and believes strongly that He is on the move in France, and that he wants to use the C of E to bless this land.
