4-11 Year Olds: Sunday Groups
We meet at 10h30 on Sunday with the rest of the congregation at St Mark's.
There are Sunday school classes during term time except on the 3rd Sunday in the month, when adults and children stay together.
Children join in the first part of the service, and come back after their class in time to be a part of the Communion on 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Groups:
Sparklers: 3 to 4 years oldComets: 5 to 7 years old
All-Stars & X-Stream: 7 to 11 years old
An all boys group (which can do boy things, and won't have do any colouring ...unless they want to), and
an all girls group which won't have to do any boy things (...if they don't want to).
And then...it's time to move on up to the youth group.
Our teaching material is based on the Scripture Union LIGHT series, with a Bible story, prayer, craft, games and singing appropriate to each age group.
