Alpha is an introductory course to the Christian faith.
Evening courses starts with a meal.
Afterwards, an aspect of Christian faith is presented and explained.
Finally, everyone has an opportunity to ask questions or offer opinions in a small discussion group (about 10 people).
The course also includes a day out (or sometimes a weekend) where the theme is “The Holy Spirit.”
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is ideal for those who want to investigate Christianity and for those who are not yet sure what they believe about the Christian faith.
The course is also popular amongst people who have become Christians quite recently.
What is the cost?
No charge is made for the course as such, though you will be invited to make a modest contribution to cover the costs of the meals and the awayday. No one should feel that they
cannot participate on the course because of financial constraints.
