Ladies' prayer breakfast - September '09

Two or three times a year we meet early in the morning to pray for different aspects of the church life. Sometimes we split into small groups, sometimes we stay together to pray for
the Sunday School, Operation Stephen, Leadership, Youth work, the building project, non Christian husbands, Outreach, our children.. aware that Jesus is with us.. There is something very special about setting time aside early in the morning, driving across Yvelines in the dark when we would rather be in our beds; sharing together when we would normally be monosyllabic.. and then sooner than we realise the time is up and we have breakfast, coffee and croissants, home made bread and bacon and eggs, laughter and chatting.. before heading home to our families having been part of a power house of prayer.
